Our commitment to making Klicktreff usable by everyone
Klicktreff is committed to ensuring that our website and platform are accessible to all people, including those with disabilities. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to find genuine connection, and we are dedicated to removing barriers that prevent people with disabilities from using our service.
We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard, which defines requirements for improving accessibility for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We continuously review and improve our platform and welcome feedback from users about any barriers they encounter.
Partially conforms means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to address all known issues. Our target is full conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA by the end of 2025.
Klicktreff is built using modern, standards-compliant web technologies. Accessibility relies on the following technologies being enabled and supported by your browser and assistive technology:
Text alternatives, sufficient contrast, scalable text
Keyboard navigation, skip links, no seizure-inducing content
Readable text, predictable layouts, error identification
Compatible with current and future assistive technologies
We test our platform with the following browser and assistive technology combinations:
Despite our best efforts, we are aware of the following known accessibility limitations. We are actively working to resolve them:
Some profile photos uploaded by members do not have meaningful alternative text descriptions. We are developing an AI-powered automated alt-text generation feature, expected in Q3 2025.
Our integrated video calling feature does not currently offer real-time auto-captions. We are evaluating third-party solutions for live captioning and expect to deploy a solution by Q4 2025.
The scrolling member carousel on the homepage does not fully respect the "prefers-reduced-motion" media query in all browsers. This is being addressed in an upcoming front-end update.
Some PDF files available on the platform (e.g., press kit) may not be fully accessible to screen reader users. We are working to provide HTML equivalents for all document-based content.
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Klicktreff. If you experience any barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please let us know. We take all accessibility feedback seriously and respond to all enquiries within 5 business days.
If you cannot access any content or complete any action on Klicktreff due to an accessibility barrier, we will endeavour to provide that information or complete the action through an alternative means. Please contact our accessibility team and we will do our best to assist you promptly.
We aim to resolve all accessibility concerns informally and promptly. However, if you are not satisfied with our response to your accessibility enquiry, you have the right to escalate the matter.
In the European Union, the European Accessibility Act (EAA) provides a legal framework for accessibility requirements. If you believe we have failed to meet our obligations under applicable accessibility legislation, you may contact the relevant national enforcement body in your country.
